The biggest nightmare for most content creators is the dreaded shadowban. It's one thing to lose your channel or account. But it stings even more when it's done in secret. Shadowbans are invisible, like a deadly virus that can't be seen with the naked eye. The algorithms will stop promoting your posts, and secretly sabotage your progress.
Is This Happening To Me?
So if shadowbans are invisible....... How can you detect if your being impacted by one? Well there's good news and bad news..... The good news is, your probably not shadowbanned. Yes I know your posting 10/10 videos.... Yes I know that the algorithm just seems to "hold a grudge" against you....
But the deadliest part of shadowbans actually don't come from the people who have them. It comes from false positives!!! I've met countless of people who are convinced they're shadowbanned. As a result they get discouraged, stop posting, and give up shortly after. When the whole time they were just about to explode in terms of views and followers.
98% of you reading this aren't shadowbanned. It's simply the placebo effect.
What About The Other 2 Percent?
Let's say God came down from heaven and gave you a gift. It was a video for you to post on social media that was flawless. It was a "golden goose" where every single person who laid eyes on it, watched it to completion. Shared it with every person on their contact list. And liked, commented, and followed you as a result. Do you think you would go viral even if you were shadowbanned? The answer is obviously yes. Shadowbans can't stop the power of positivity. And if your creating content that genuinely changes peoples lives and makes their business, wellbeing, and hobbies better. You are immune to shadowbans with amazing content.
Okay... But How Do I Know Just In Case?
Okay I get it. If you've read this far is because you want to know the bottom line. "Just tell me how I can know". Fine. I'll tell you. Look at your view count of your last few dozen videos. If you've been posting multiple times daily, and you've have been all excellent quality ( <- THIS IS IMPORTANT).
And it's been over a month since you've broken at the very least 1-2k views on a video. It might be time to make a new account. You might have a bad reputation with the algorithm at this point. And it might be faster to just start from scratch........ If you liked the info from this blog post, and you want to see what I could do for you.
